If I try to make some modifs on the file :

\wp-content\themes\Newspaper\parts\page-author-box.php

ligne 25
$comment_count = $wpdb->get_var($wpdb->prepare(“SELECT COUNT(*) AS total FROM $wpdb->comments WHERE comment_approved = 1 AND user_id = %d”, $part_cur_auth_obj->ID));

for example replace this part

$part_cur_auth_obj->ID
by
$part_cur_auth_obj->user_url

I have a number of comments who is displaying.

But not the good number, it’s the number of all the comments of the registered members. Me normally I have 235 comments in my profil.

The comments are in WordPress, not a plugin no ?

There is no plugin I think . The comments have been transfer from Joomla in WordPress with the component FG Joomla To WordPress Premium ( here the link : https://www.fredericgilles.net/fr/fg-joomla-to-wordpress/).
