Hi @Bettina

Maybe with some CSS?

Thanks

meri
tagDiv Member

Hi again,

I fixed the problem using the custom css below. Now the 2 featured images are pretty small, would be nice if they were normal, but at least the problem is solved.

.td_module_mob_2 {
margin:-15px -15px 0 -15px;
}

Hi Bettina,

Before Vlad sent me the custom CSS, there were 2 white lines: https://ibb.co/PcgDqmv
With the code, there is still one white line left: https://ibb.co/nMKS960

I’m surprised by these lines as https://www.mondeoz.com/?amp (same theme) has the same mobile custom CSS and doesn’t show white lines…

Thanks for your help

Hi,

Thanks Vlad. It fixed most of the white lines but not the one on top. Can you help?
Moreover, I pasted the code in Mobile > Custom CSS. Was it right or should I paste it directly in Custom code > Custom CSS?

Thanks

You have to look at it from a smartphone to see them

Hi,

I have the same problem.
Did you find a solution?

Thanks

meri

Hi,

It doesn’t make a change.
Google Analytics only counts the AMP traffic.
It works when I set it again on Mobile+AMP but doesn’t work when I switch back to Mobile only.

Can you help?

Hi,

It does work now, thanks.

Hi Calin,

I already did it. The date still shows…

Can you help?

Hi Calin,

So I disable the rich snippets of Newspaper and just use the Yoast ones?

Thanks

meri
tagDiv Member

Hi Calin,

I do not want to disable the date everywhere, only on specific pages, like the homepage.
How should I proceed?

Thanks

Found the solution, had to activate the standard pack again. No need to reply

Hi Calin,

I’m using the block 15 as a widget in the sidebar.
Can you help me with the custom css?

Thanks

meri

Hi,

I don’t really understand your reply but I think you’re trying to tell me that my website is showing the mobile theme on mobiles and tablets, right?
Then, https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ is not using the mobile theme?
Because the mobile versions of your demo and my website are totally different!

Thanks

Hi Calin,

Yes, it does help and works perfectly!

Thanks a lot for your help!

Hi,

I meant: can I use them (the stars, full, half full and empty) in the content of a post?
Is there a html code or could I cut/paste to use them?
I’d like to replace the stars on this page for example: https://www.coupdepoker.com/culture-poker/meilleurs-livres-poker/
Here is a screenshot: https://ibb.co/crNjYfG

Thanks

Hi Calin,

Seems that it worked.
Do you think a development will be made in the next update to easily let us chose to switch in on or off instead of modifying the code?

Thanks

Found the solution, wasn’t using the right module, no need to reply.

Hi,

Unfortunately, it does not the job.
My code hides the date but doesn’t remove it:
<div class="td-main-content-wrap td-main-page-wrap">

<div class="td-container">
<div class="td_block_wrap td_block_big_grid_mob_1 tdi_1_58b td-grid-style-1 td-hover-1 td-pb-border-top td_block_template_1"><div id=tdi_1_58b class="td_block_inner"><div class="td-big-grid-wrapper">
<div class="td_module_mob_2 td_module_wrap td-animation-stack">
<div class="td-module-thumb">meilleur site poker en ligne</div> <div class="td-meta-info-container">
<div class="td-meta-align">
<div class="td-big-grid-meta">
<h3 class="entry-title td-module-title">Meilleur site de poker en ligne</h3> </div>
<div class="td-module-meta-info">
<span class="td-post-author-name">Coup de Poker <span>-</span> </span> <span class="td-post-date"><time class="entry-date updated td-module-date" datetime="2018-11-02T11:15:14+00:00" >2 novembre 2018</time></span> </div>
</div>
</div>

</div>

This is a big SEO issue as Google picks the date (2 novembre 2018) and shows it on my homepage SERP.

How can I remove it?

Thanks

Hi,

I tried the code below and it seems to work.
.td-big-grid-wrapper .td-module-meta-info {
display: none;
}

Is it the right way to do it?

Hi Simion,

I found the answer: it shows the date of the first featured article on the mobile version https://ibb.co/rMCcZB2

How can I disable (or hide) author/date on the front page grid of the mobile version?

Thanks

meri
tagDiv Member

Hi Calin,

That’s weird, the mobile theme was on and set to Mobile + AMP.
The only thing I changed was to enabling the cache yesterday evening (I disable it while working on the website).
I emptied the cache and the mobile theme is back.

Can you help me to disable (or hide) author and date?

Thanks

Actually I’m wrong, I was confused with another topic, enabling the mobile device support seems to fix the problem of AMP on desktop. You should give it a try gaviny.
