I used w3-total-cache and it seems to drop the load speed from 3.6 seconds down to 1.26 seconds.

Still looking forward to some minified CSS and JS but until then the caching plugins are the way to go.

Got it thank you. I didn’t realize it wasen’t included in the update from 1.4 – 1.5 patch. I had to re-download the entire theme to get the plugin folder.

There doesn’t seem to be any pages that 404 since i ran through the site and also have a script to log all hits to the 404 page although I get a page found called “Page Not Found” its really weird. I will continue to try and find the issue and will let you know what I come up with but for now its kind of hard to explain.

I have installed WP Super Cache and WP Minify so far and it has improved everything a good bit. Next step was to see how the Google Adsense code is being added, did you use asyncronous or syncronous? If its not async you may want to update that in the next release since it seems to improve speed quite a bit.

Also an issue that I am having that I just can’t seem to figure out is my analytics is showing “Page Not Found” errors but not 404 somewhere. The error shown in analytics doesn’t seem to hit the 404 page though and was happening before any plugins where added. I am running WP 3.6.1 and just can’t seem to find the issue.
