Hmm And why not make this option for all elements in the GENERAL tab?
After all, it would be much easier to navigate.

Thx.

Very well! I am glad that your team listens to the community.
I hope a new demo or templates will appear in the near future.

Thx for answer ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hello Calin, thx for your answer, but I have a question for you as a professional.
I decided to use this way, in my opinion it is more universal.

1) in order to make the content narrow – I have prescribed 600 px for it and indicated that this block be centered.
2) so that the image was wide, I ordered that it stretch 300px on each side. At the same time, it will stretch only if it is centered.

Please watch my video and tell me if I did it right? Or, in the end, the source code will look very bad, and search engines may not like it.

I watched the video and was a little surprised. I thought the indents were written directly to the template from the cloud library.

Because it’s easier to prescribe these parameters once, and so that they work in the future, rather than indenting each time manually when adding a new post.

mRelby

I donโ€™t understand exactly where to indent: padding or margin.
I would also like to clarify exactly where the indents are written: in row or block (content, title, comments…)?

mRelby

I found a way out, but I do not think that it is correct.
position: fixed and add this code:
.td-container-wrap {
margin-top: 50px;
}

to Live CSS.

Now I understand, thx. But…
Did just as you showed above. When editing, it works (first scr). But on the site – no (second scr).

first:

second:

I did everything right?

p.s. same if you edit Content Zone and Content Row (the indent is changed in the editor, but not on the site):

And what if I use CLASSIC EDITOR? Where can I find the tables in this case?
Sorry, but I do not see the tables here.

I found. But to change 3 dots, need to make changes to 768 line, but not to 778, as indicated on your screenshot.

mRelby

this line of code:
if (trim($excerpt) == '...' {
change the 3 dots in the excerpt post AND Title post

mRelby

Yes, but for example, I want to edit only the PC version. It turns out that in this case I will need to remove the changes in all other (3) versions?

In the settings there is no way to do the opposite? Namely:
make changes to only one version, so that they are used only in this way, and at the same time I would not have to change anything in other versions?

Simion, thank you very much. This is what I needed ๐Ÿ™‚

mRelby
tagDiv Member

Mean like that?
.td-header-wrap {
width: 100%;
position: fixed;
}
.td-main-content-wrap {
margin-top: 80px;
}

This is how it works. Itโ€™s just not clear why the absence has changed, it has become less.
http://prntscr.com/me5q4m

But if you remove a fixed position then the indent becomes larger:
http://prntscr.com/me5qr4

P.S. By default, the indentation should be more, the same as in the second screenshot. But in this case, you need to remove a fixed position, but if this is done then the menu will not move after the user when scrolling.

mRelby
tagDiv Member

Yes, that is what I mean.

Nothing wrong. It was just a wish that your customers would welcome ๐Ÿ˜‰

mRelby
tagDiv Member

I wanted to do not quite.

f

My version code demonstrates my idea:

.td-header-wrap {
position: fixed;
}

If you use this code, then you will not have to activate the sticky menu in the theme settings.

But, as you can see, in this case, the whole heading moves out and it is not the full width. But at the same time, heder elements do not twitch during scrolling. And this is very good. This is just as in the theme MAGSY.

Yes, I understand that. That is, you have to manually select a template every time during the publication.

But, you see, it would be much more convenient if there was an opportunity to set once a certain record template for a certain category, as I said above. Is not it so? That’s why I suggested this for the next versions of your theme ๐Ÿ™‚

mRelby

Thanks for your reply.
I hope you still help me to make the same menu as here:
http://magsy.mondotheme.com

Here is the address of my test site:
http://tested.hostenko.com/

Thank! ๐Ÿ™‚

mRelby

No-no…

I did not mean it.
I have just done as shown in your screenshots above.

I want to make the template from the library be involved in the Single Post.
I need not a template for a category page, but a template for a single post in a specific category.

example:

There are two categories:
1) news
2) reviews

in the news category there is an entry:
What is happening today in Venezuela.
This entry should have, for example:
Single Post Template 38 – Journal

and in the review category there is an entry:
Xiaomi Review We 8
This entry should use:
Single Post Template 34

mRelby

Yes, indeed it can be done.
The truth is not clear why if you first create a template, and then go to a category to select an already created template – it does not exist. It is necessary to choose from the library, and not from those that have already been created earlier.

But thank you. We will try ๐Ÿ™‚

If I understand correctly, tin92f wants to make a similar menu, as implemented here:
https://magsy.mondotheme.com/

That is, when scrolling the site, the menu remains on top and its size does not change. How to do this?

one more thing
This theme provides a floating block with buttons to share how here, example:
