Thanks. That allowed me to concentrate on an area to tweak. So that it helps someone else, I guess I missed the tip “if you choose to load a mega menu or a page, please do not add submenus, etc.” I did remove the submenus from there. Thanks.

Thanks. It sure was a plugin… “easy table of content”, which I have disabled for now, before I find something more compatible. thanks for your help.
