I fix the problem number 2 with these lignes in custom css :

color: #fff;
background-color: #4e4e4e !important;
}

.sf-menu ul .current-category-ancestor > a,

Regarding the others :

1- I’m working on local right now so I can’t provide you a link.
http://www.screencast.com/t/9Jn5kT1N What I mean is that if you look a the breadcrumbs you’ll see that the active page is from the sub menu of this item, and when a sub menu page is active the bottom border of the item is overriden. You understand what I mean ?

2- The only plugin that is installed on the local install is Yoast SEO, and the plugins which are provided/required for Newspaper. I will try to change the color directly in the css file.
