Hello Calin, I have the Newspaper theme, I am afraid to upgrade tagdiv composer so I just used another plugin for the youtube videos and added it using a “column text” block and a shortcode the plugin gives me.

Is the Newspaper theme and its components (composer, etc) going to try to upgrade themselves? Or should I do the upgrades manually?

This is terrible, I deleted the tagdiv composer and then reinstalled it and then I got this error when trying to edit the homepage:

Errors at columns elements: 1(models) : 0(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)

I couldn’t select any of my blocks to delete them and recreate them. I couldn’t add new blocks either.

Good thing I had made a backup of all files and the database, I switched it back.

But now I’m scared of the plugins auto updating themselves. Is the theme and their plugins auto-updating themselves?

Hello there, I don’t have cpanel.
What do you need access to?
Are you just going to set allow_url_fopen=1 in etc/php.ini?
I already did that, but that’s only a temporary solution.
Have you found a different solution to this problem? Maybe you can share it here? I don’t want you to just login to my server and fix the problem without me knowing what you are doing. Thank you.

Hi there, for me it was working yesterday. Today I deleted all the videos and I am trying to add one more and it doesn’t show. I tried several codes from several videos and they don’t show. I disables other plugins and no luck. I checked the browser console and there are no errors. Is it a problem with youtube maybe? I changed the player for a Vimeo player and that one works fine.

Hello, it works on the block.
For the single page, I made the change in all the files in wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/single

If I set the “Style 1” post template, it works, however, if the post has the “From Panel” template, which is the default, it doesn’t work.

How can I make the change for the “from panel” template? Or how can I set the “Style 1” style as a default for all posts?

EDIT: I found how to change the default post template, it’s on Newspaper –> Theme Panel –> Post Settings –> Default Post Template.
