Ok, thanks for the info.
So, is there any way I can create the same effect on my own? I.e. having the featured image as more of a large thumbnail in the top left portion of the text?
If I had featured image it always covers the full width of the text column. This is what I want to avoid.

Or, even if I cannot create it myself, can I edit the default version then to add other elements?
Any tips?
