Possibly unrelated but here is a recurring error from the theme’s php_errorlog:
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function get_header() in /home/[dir]/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/index.php:6

wp-config settings are correct:
define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);
define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’);
