Sahifa, in itself, is a very decorative theme, though. I’d really love to see Newspaper 5 bring in some of the features that Sahifa has, without the lags or the issues, you know. I’d love to see the Tagdiv social counter more beautiful, like the Arqam social counter. Also, the smart sidebar and news ticker sound very promising.

Another feature I’d like added is a multitude of Big slideshows to choose from, each with its own features and stuff.

I think so too. Sahifa has issues, especially when viewing it with javascript disabled. None of the images appear if javascript is disabled!

I was initially planning to go for Newsmag, but I found that if the resolution is very, very high, the demo version of the theme goes haywire. In the sense, the second row of the main section organizes itself at the end of the first row, instead of beside it. So I decided to go for Newspaper instead. It costs about $10 more, but it is worth the price, especially with Newspaper 5 due in just a month or two.

I can say that I am actually happy with the theme I purchased, thanks to Tagdiv.

Happy to have helped! Also, could you see to it that in the next update, we don’t need to add images as large as 1074*483px for it to show properly in the Big Slider? Most other themes, like Hot Topix and Jarida (I have used them on other sites), their sliders work fine with all dimensions. I hope you can understand, it is hard to find images as wide as 1074px for every featured article.

I was finally able to pinpoint the issue, and it’s not just me! Just try loading the Homepage with background on Newspaper Tech (Boxed), on a mobile device. You’ll see what I mean. The big slider is only half-visible, while the other half just cuts out of the viewpoint:

If you load the above link on a mobile phone, you’ll find that half of the bigslider is cut out of the screen, ’cause the image dimensions are unproportional.
