FYI: I have about 20 categories, I want to show them all according to the publishing time on recent posts of homepage, and I want to exclude the Hot News category but that doesn’t mean the posts under the Hot News & Other categories also be excluded, as I mentioned earlier there are posts having two categories one is Hot News for the articles to appear on featured area and other are categories of the post.
I just want the published articles that appear on Recent Pots area to show the real categories not the Hot News Category
Thank you very much

Hello Anamaria
Thank you for your response
What I exactly want is to show the real post’s category NOT the Hot News category on the recent posts.
Your solution making the posts showing from one category only on recent post (Flex Block 1), that’s not I wanted, what I want is in the recent posts showing all the posts from various categories not only from one category, and not showing the Hot News category.
Thank you
It is the right block
Hi thank you very much,
that’s exactly I wanted,
thank you again Anamarie,
you’re the best !
So the second “Recent Posts” block will continue the sequel of the previous posts in the first “Recent Posts” Block?
This is the part of code shared by Calin: .td-meta-box-row:first-child Does this code work only on child theme? If it does, I don’t know how to make child theme.
Let’s make it easier for me, how about give me the code that can work on Parent Template, so that I can simpy paste the code and save, done without the need to make child theme.
Thank you
Romi
Hi Bettina
Yes, I said in my previous post that non-Admin (not Admin) roles still has this option, even after I applied the code from Calin.
Is making a certain option, such as Post Template, disabled not covered by the support forum? Because basically I am not asking for customization only asking for disabling the already available option.
Thank you.

Hi Calina
Thanks for your code, but unfortunately it didn’t work because non-Admin roles still has the Post Templates option.
The Author role still has the Post Settings option, as for Subscriber role, I can’t choose this role because I want them to write on my blog.
The only thing concerns me to disable it so they can’t change the template design but stick to the design I set to them.
I have followed to the link you recommended yet couldn’t find the answer of my question, I even have installed a WordPress plugin called “Capabilites” but no menu to disable the Post Settings.
Anyway, just put it this way, I don’t need to disable the Post Settings only to a certain ROLE, but to the all roles…How can I achieve this. And Post Settings only exists in Tagdiv NewsPaper theme, that means its existence due to be added by Tagdiv. So I would like to know how to disable this Post Settings option because it gives me an additional work to revert to the default theme, because some of my blog’s members keep changing the blog’s template.
Great your trick worked.
Thank you very much.
This is my homepage https://suarapemerintah.id/
And this is post URL https://suarapemerintah.id/2022/01/jokowi-bakal-hadiri-dies-natalis-unpar-hingga-tinjau-proyek-kcjb/
One more thing, this is another thing I would like to achieve, I want to set the post style as default so my web member cannot change it when they’re on the post editor to publish their article, can I achieve that?
Hi Bettina
Thanks alot you’re the best, I can achieve what I want following your recommendation. Thanks Bettina and Anamaria for your helps.
Regards
Me
I mean we set the Post Template for a certain category, and user cannot change it, it’s a default Post Template for only a certain category’s post?
Or can we set a different Post Template for a certain category?
What I mean is the “Show Post Views” is showing by default, not enabling it manually when posting an article.
Hi Anamaria, thanks for response.
Ok I have figured out the solution.

Yes thanks.
Anyway where to edit the header of the website for mobile screen?
My friend told me to go to cloud -> header, but I couldn’t find it.
Thanks again.
Thank you very much.

You’ve misunderstood, as I have already mentioned that the Widget which is the FEED URL is not the block from Tagdiv (as you mentioned Tagdiv doesn’t provide this feature) instead it is the widget sidebar from Wp as you previously pointed it out to me.
If it’s the tagdiv block that I won’t make this thread to ask for help.
I repeat it’s the widget sidebar not block of Tagdiv hope this clears the misunderstanding.
How to change the border color of the widget title of NON tagdiv block widget.
Thanks in advance again.

Hello, is there no response for my second question?
Hello Anamaria,
Anyway I have found the tricks to make the look (apperance) of the external URL feed widget identical with other official Tagdiv blocks in sidebar.
But the only problem is I am stucked at changing the border color of the widget title, since it’s the widget sidebar of WordPress (not Tagdiv) so I don’t find the option to change the border color.
To help you notice what I mean I provide the screenshot.

Thanks in advance !
