thanks for the response. yes that part I understood, but I am not sure how to upload you can only add svg code in the manager…. lets say I wan to add a png?? also I am not alowed to upload svg icon in media section…

Update, I just fixed it. Just needed to reselect the correct menu in the panel. Messy update slow support is not happy about to be honest.

hi swan, thanks for the help. for me is instaled and activated. I tried uninstalling and activating it again. Still, the menu is gone. Not idea what’s up. weak support today that’s for sure.

seems you need to do it manually, there is still isues but logo some issues are fixed by this.

I also noticed now there is indeed a problem with the menus…they disappeared…

deactivated Tagdiv composer and it solves it. but I would like a more elegant solution if possible.

I really don’t have the time for a long form debate on this. I will just add one more reply for the sake of the people you are confusing here.

“Google’s own information on their algo”

There is no information on google algo, these are just guidelines for webmasters, let’s not pretend your or me know how Google algorithm works.

So, if your site is “Giant Killer Puppies” and you do a page about “Best Food for Brown Puppies” then you can have h1 tag on your logo with site name in the ‘header’ section, and this is *separate* than the h1 tag for “Best Food for Brown Pups” which would *also* be used for referential links within site, inbound and social links, meta tags, and possibly alt tag for the hero photo on page.

it’s all nice and good theoretically, but when I removed this, my ranks are all coming back slowly across different sites.

regarding this, I don’t think they are penalizing for this, so you are correct. but this doesn’t mean in some cases this will not affect your ranks due to relevancy or god knows what. Anyway, google is nice to inform us but many times things are different on the field, you must know that if you are such a hot shot SEO

for anyone who’s websites, like mine, lost ranks because of this. Just change this and see how it affects your ranks and report back on this thread. This is the only way to really know.

You help a lot of people around here, and you are clearly a good programmer. But this time your are wrong! I have over 8 years experience in SEO and it doesn’t matter how “correct” is this from a stand point of programing. I an SEO I spend many hours correcting stuff programmers didn’t do properly from an SEO standpoint.

In this case, there is only one way to know, and that is testing. I was disconcerted when I lost my rank for the main keyword at my homepage suddenly jumped from position 3 to 40 *(all the rest of the post that don’t have dup h1 didn’t lose their ranks), when I discovered this I did the change so there is only one h1 and my main keyword is now back at the top ten and climbing.

I t may be one day google algo is updated to allow this but right now this affect ranks.

It is also very bad Tagdiv changed this without notifying, I personally lost a lot of money.

MESOTU I would correct this if I where you, you have nothing to gain by having more than an h1 in the same page.

I see that is the case, this guy was a bad call. it really affects many sites I build with your theme and lost traffic because of it. I need a permanent solution so I can update, the child theme is too complicated. this is not ok…

Well I as a person with 7 plus years of experience in SEO I can tell you for a fact that two h1 will move stuff from the first page to the third. I happened to my by mistake. This implementation is not smart at all. now I will have to change this every time I update if I forget I will loose my ranks. not cool. I would like to get a response from the devs. you gusy need to add a simple solution for this.

I think is related to the new version of the theme, something may have changed in the banner setting? for me they dont show at desktop

To bad, it makes it problematic to make Amazon product lists. hope you guys consider improving that in the future.
