@Simion C., we are talking about Post style 8, not about Header style 8. 🙂

Just exclude this scripts from optimizing:
wp-content/themes/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.js, wp-content/themes/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js, wp-content/themes/Newspaper/js/td_wp_admin.min.js

This could be a plugin conflict

Bingo! Conflict with Autoptimize. FIXED
Thank you!

Hi, Bogdan, and thank you for answer.
Some clarification… 🙂

My question concerns a technical aspect, with respect to NP Theme and WP Series-Of-Posts plugins.

What plugin is better to use with NP?

Sergey Smirnov

OK, Simon, I’ll try to play with plugins…
And can we use this tutorial?

Это просто 🙂
Вот инструкция:

Yes, Smon, i understand it.
I just give an idea for future implementation.

Hi, Simon.

Thank you for advice. It works, but… partially. 🙂
Hidden category slugs are still present in URL of:

  • Mega-menu items
  • YOAST SEO Sitemap.xml
  • Maybe somewhere esle…

We can fix the sitemap.xml issue with Google Sitemap by BestWebSoft plugin, but how to win Mega-Menu – we can’t figure.

We deside to return the YOAST SEO Sitemap.xml and leave “need-to-be-hidden” slugs in URL, although I fear that this may lead to undesirable consequences (for SEO and navigation/usability).

I think it’s a good idea to give the opportunity to completely hide the selected categories and slugs from site (front and URL).
This will give more flexibility in creating site structure – without creating the custom taxonomies (that does not negate my wish of full CT&CPT support :-))

After some digging and playing with NP Theme, i’ve got a clean and short description of our neads:

– NP must support CPT&CT exactly same as Standatd Posts and Categories.

I think this will open big market for your great product.

ОК, Bogdan, we will try to find workaround 🙂
I think that this feature will be very popular, if you decide to implement it in the future.

Congrat with v.8!

Bogdan, thank you for advice, but…
Looks like my first post wasn’t clear enough 🙂

I’m talking about list filtering (not block).
Let me to explain.

Look at Lifestyle Category page:
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/tagdiv-lifestyle/

We see the sub-Categories: Business, Health & Fitness, Recipes, Travel.

I want to show in addition list (or cloud) of tags. And only tags, that are present in posts of Lifestyle Category, and sub-Categories.
When we drill-down into sub-cat, tags list must be filtered relatively.

This approach applies not only tags, but other taxonomy too.
