I have deactivated all plugins. Starting with the caching plugin until last but not least the tagDiv plugins. After deactivating the tagDiv Composer the image has changed to “fullscreen”. Before that there is no change.

In addition, I noticed that it is mainly the posts are affected which are displayed on the home page and in the mega menu.

If one calls these, the pictures are small. If I open an article from a category, a keyword or from the back pages of the mega menu, the image is initially large. If the page is then refreshed or called up again, the image is displayed smaller again.

Any ideas?

I followed your instructions. Alternatively, I tried it again without the caching plugin. I also tried the whole thing again and removed the social counter from the home page and the widget, but unfortunately in vain.

The stats for Instagram and Facebook are not pulled.

There are some Plugins to do this. But each additional plugin can also mean another security hole. In some small Steps you can do it by your own.

Bevore you need to know the biggest image size you need, like 1920x1080px. Than you can change the Size with programms like Paint.NET or Gimp.

If you resized the image, you can compress them with a online tool like tinypng.com. On most images, i can safe between 0~90%. So some over 1MB images can be compressd down to ~400KB or less sometimes.

I work since month with RankMath and i can say i have no trouble with it. I keep them allways up to date and it runs great with Newspaper.

Hi,

we don’t want disable the login and registration from the Theme. This function is one reason why we choose Newspaper as the Theme for our Website. We want that people can create an account, without to login on WordPress. Our User need only the Account Creation to login after that in our Wikis.
