I was facing the *exact* issue. Turns out, if you disable the ‘Content-Security-Policy’ for your test/staging site, everything works fine. So yeah. Try not to implement way too tight CSP. Hope this saves your time and of many others. Cheers.

Turns out it was the TagDiv Composer plugin. As soon as I turned it off, that Edit Live with CSS window went away.

Managed to solved this issue after a fresh install of WP on VPS and then activating the NP theme.

Nope. The Theme Panel is still unusable. Selecting any option just gives square-pixel progress gif but nothing happens. The drop down from top left corner shows Theme Panel in red colour – indicative that something is wrong with Theme Panel 8.1.2 running on WordPress 4.8.3 without any plugins.

Facing the same issue on WordPress 4.8.3 version. Theme Panel is unusable. However, I did exactly what PatriotZero did. Also removed all plugins. Now it is working fine. I had Sucuri and WP Fast Cache along with the usual Jetpack and Akismet. Not sure what’s wrong.
