I tried what @shadez suggested and didn’t work.
I don’t think the issue is with my htaccess.

In web console, I get the following error when I try to click on a button in theme panel:
“Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘editor’ of td_wp_admin.min.js:32 undefined
At HTMLAnchorElement.<anonymous> (td_wp_admin.min.js:35)
At HTMLdocument.dispatch (load-scripts.php?c=0..i-mouse&ver=4.9.1.:3)
At HTMLdocument.r.handle (load-scripts.php?c=0..i-mouse&ver=4.9.1.:3)”

And

“Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property load-scripts.php?c=0..io-mouse&ver=4.9.1:3
‘Editor’ of undefined
At HTMLAnchorElement.<anonymous> (td_wp_admin.min.js:35)
At HTMLdocument.dispatch (load-scripts.php?c=0..i-mouse&ver=4.9.1.:3a)
At HTMLdocument.r.handle (load-scripts.php?c=0..i-mouse&ver=4.9.1.:3)”

I spoke with my host and they said:

“Our admins have confirmed that the cPanel that you have does not block any admin-ajax.php file.

The theme developers code added on .htaccess is the one blocking ajax.php but, if you set the .htaccess to a default code, it breaks the site.”

I’ve tried everything in this thread, system status is all good, but I still can’t get the theme panel to save options or click on buttons such as “upload”.
Why is this such a common issue here and why isn’t there a resolution? I don’t know what else to try. My hosting company said there’s no issues on their end they can resolve.
