Christopher is a long time WordPress user. Anything else you need to know is private ;-) I *do not* work for TagDiv, but I've been using their themes since late 2013.

Actually… correction, kooky caching of
PHP 8.2.15

living on the edge for the beta test of running everything on ‘edge’ copies before migrating all our old NM3x sites on php 7.4x. Wheeee!

resolved….
basically, did update via theme panel, rather WP panel > updates > themes

then simply dragged over my FTP copy which has the CSS fixes for generic fonts on top of the “updated” copy.

Solved. Weirdness 🙂
Latest version of WP, and running PHP 8.1x.

Probably some aggressive caching thing in PHP 8.1x behaves differently than 7.4x.

You might look at one of the Yoast optimizer addon plugins which “kills” a bunch of the not-used Yoast features, turns off nags when changing or removing a poat, etc.
We did this with our own custom plugin, because Yoast has become way too intrusive and sometimes actually hurts SEO when they have bugs, vs helping.Rather than actually making solid usable version, each update adds something new, fixes old bugs, then often introduces NEW bugs. Idiots.

We use the WP Staging Pro plugin over here
(I don’t work here)

There are two downloads: a) just theme and b) all files which also includes changelog, readme, etc. You want the smaller of the two for the upload to install. Or unzip B on your PC and get the smaller zip inside of that. 🙂

For boken or deactivated menus

go to apperance > menus > manage locations
and reset menus used top/bottom of page/post as applicable.

I’d likely hide the borders personally as they are rendered based on depth of the content, not the depth of all the columns combined. (I don’t work here.)

do you have proper open graph tags, and in your page source header is featured image linked to?

Maybe learn to manage your own server and WordPress?
We’ve been using TagDiv themes for six years or more and they always provide great support and in fact go out of their way to try to diagnose server side problems totally unrelated to the theme. No theme developer is obligated to help you fix your web server. You seem to expect a lot for $59.

(I don’t work here. Pardon my intrusion.)

Might be browser caching issue?

simchris

I usually do this with WordPress image “caption.” The caption field for each image would generally print right below the photo in most templates. 🙂

webp - reply

simplest thing is upload your main images in webp format to begin with. webp does not help much with small thumbnails. some info… https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-use-webp-images-in-wordpress/

be aware some social and news platforms do not yet support intake of webp format…so double check that

opengraph tags for image in the header of each post should work with whatsapp. not theme specific. maybe post image of your opengraph image header for post not sharing to whatsapp on mobile? if using different templates for mobile, opengraph tags need to be in that template header also. theme does not control whether whatsapp can share image properly.

i dont work here.

If you looked at your page source and don’t have opengraph tags, you can add them with plugin or by using Yoast SEO.

Doesn’t matter what other sites do; if you don’t have opengraph tags setup, whatsapp may not work for you how you expect.

Some guides are found in the forum; but good place to start:
https://gtmetrix.com/
they provide free examples of stuff you need to do, like set proper headers, time to live, recommendations for photo optimization, etc.
(free!)

Check your page source for post and ensure you have working OPEN GRAPH tags in place for the image, which is required by Whatsapp.
