I Have installed all plugins that you recommended but the featured images are cut off from both sides. Please help me to resolve the issue.

And also please answer the below questions

1)What is difference between Module and Block? In the Home page I use Block 24.

2) What size image should I use for my block?(for above shown block)https://www.screencast.com/t/69CuVlkhfb

Thank you very much for your help.
I am using Block 24 for my home page.The Feature images are chopped off from both sides.Please see the images the links below!. Hi,
Since I wrote you, Last night I was experimenting with different look on using different blocks on my website and I changed the Block 24 to Block 11 and since I didn’t know you are going to check the web site I didn’t change it back to Block 24.

Now I put the Block 24 back to the website. if you check it now, you will see The images are chopped off from both side and it doesn’t look good. As you recommended I enabled Thumbs for Featured images but Feature images look the same.I left the block 11 below the block 24 and as you see images in block 11 are scaled down but not chopped off. Can I get the same behavior for my images in block 24 then I will be happy!. I like the size of images in block 24 but not chopping off or distorting the images. Please tell me how I can get to this goal.

2) I don’t want Authors names appear next to headlines and I disabled the name of Authors in Theme Panel but the names of Authors appears in my Home page and my Menu items when I go to those pages. How can I disable it?
