Try to disable the default caching option in your WP settings!

That seems to work, such a simple solution; thank you.

Update:

Pages (including front page) seem to load now, but only refresh once a day or something like that on the live website. What could be causing this?

Thanks but the problem is not that I don’t know how to make a page.

The problem is that the changes that I make to my website do not go live in real-time.

Pages (especially the front page) get “stuck” in an older version and don’t get the updates. That is the problem.

I’ll be more clear: I set a page as the front page; I edit it and all of that; I update che changes.

But my website still shows an old page that doesn’t exist anymore. It’s like what I do with WP doesnt get sent to the live website at all, just randomly once a day or so.

Website is https://www.cripto-italia.com

This is what my homepage was supposed to be: https://www.cripto-italia.com/home1

I put “/home1” in the permalink cause if I don’t put a number at the end of it, that page also gets stuck and doesnt get updated on the live version of the website anymore…for some reason.

Already tried everything: purging cache, cache plugins, database cleaning plugins…everything.

Also spoke with my host provider support and they said everything looks good on their part.

Thank you

Simion, I’m going to give you examples so maybe I can be a little less confusing.

This is the front page I would like to have: https://www.cripto-italia.com/home1/

I can’t set it as front page because if I do, it will just disappear and the live website will just show this outdated thing instead, as it does with anything that I try to set as front page: https://www.cripto-italia.com

Also you’ll notice that I called it “……/home1”. That’s because if I don’t put a number at the end of the permalink, the page gets stuck and doesn’t get updates on the live website.

Could I perhaps give you my WP login info so that you could have a quick look into it? I seriously don’t know what to look for anymore.

Thanks for the reply, but it’s stuck, it doesn’t work. Whatever I do, the front page keeps being stuck on an outdated page that I already deleted but still keeps showing up.

I can’t have a front page AT ALL. Also any page or post gets stuck like that unless I put a number at the end of the permalink…??

Example: new post, permalink is “https://www.mysite.com/post”, it gets stuck and doesn’t get updated; permalink changed to “https://www.mywebsite.com/post1”, it works and it actually goes live.

This only happens from desktop. Mobiles can see pages and posts properly, UNLESS they try and go on the front page (“https://www.myswebsite.com”), in which case they also see this old stuck outdated page that was supposed to be in the trash.

This makes no sense to me and I’ve spent more than ten hours trying to figure out what could be causing this but to no avail.

Please help.

Hello? Please help…

New update: Apparently, people (including me) can see a much more recent version of the website from mobile devices. I can see content from my phone that was uploaded not more than one hour ago.

The problem still persists though when viewing the website from desktop. It is still stuck on outdated content.

Hi and thanks for your answer.

My pages do show with a green padlock and “https” on them, that’s not the problem. (also get an A score on sites like ssllabs)

The problem is that the front page keeps being frozen and showing outdated content that doesn’t reflect what I edit and see from my WP panel. I seriously have no idea what to do anymore. Been fighting with this for countless hours at this point. Please help!

UPDATE:

If I set my addresses on WP general settings as ‘http’ instead of ‘https’, the right page is loaded. But, this is the ‘unsecure’ version of my website. How can I have this theme on the https version?
