Hi Guys,

Replied to this thread again last night – not sure why my reply isn’t coming up but the long and short of it was: It’s fixed! I don’t know how or why but it just started accepting changes to the custom CSS again.

Thanks for all the help 🙂

Hi Lucien,

Thanks for picking up the error – it is related to my mailing list widget and I’m investigating it. I changed the max_input_vars from 1000 to 3500 (the highest option) and it is still not working. I tried to change the custom css on another page and it is doing the same thing. I deactivated all my optional plugins and tried again – same thing. I also tried it in a different browser & on a different PC & on a different connection…
I’m really not sure how to proceed from here?

Thanks

Thanks for the trick Christopher but unfortunately it didn’t work for me 🙁 I am using chrome at the moment and not IE as well so really no idea why it’s acting up.

Hopefully the TagDiv team have got an idea or fix for me.

Hi,

I spoke too soon. It is only half working. It is showing up on the home page perfectly, however, the logo isn’t showing up on any of the other pages even though if you hover over the spot where it should be you can still pick up the link? I have checked the widget and all my pages are supposed to have the same menu’s everywhere so not sure why the fb & twitter still work but not the meetup logo? Is it perhaps where I am saving the file?

This is the CSS I added.

.td-s-s-32-meetup {
background-image: url(‘wp-content/themes/Newspaper/images/meetup-logo-32-grey.png’) ;
}

Thanks

I EVENTUALLY got it to work – I’m very happy now.

Thanks so much for all the help guys! I’m sure I’ll have more questions soon 🙂

Have a great week!

Hi Christopher,

Thanks for pointing out the typo. I’ve removed it and still no luck though 🙁

Anything else I can try?

Thanks,

Stephanie

Hi Lucian,

Thanks for the help!

I got the button to show there and it points to the right place but it isn’t pulling the icon image through?

My site is: http://www.totsintow.co.za

Code I added into custom CSS:

.td-s-s-16-meetup {
background-image: url
(‘http://www.totsintow.co.za/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/images//meetup_logo_200_black_1.png’) !important;
}

I have tried to resize the image (have tried it both square & original size), changed it from .gif to .png & moved it to other locations. Can’t get it to pull the image through and not sure what I’m doing wrong. Any thoughts?

Thanks again.

Stephanie
