Hi Vlad S,
Thanks for your reply. I know what admin-ajax.php does. I’m NOT asking the purpose of admin-ajax.php. I’m asking what this specific url with parameters do.

It obviously takes theme name and version number as parameters and returns a value, in my case 0 ( I’m assuming it is a true or false ). My question is what does the Newspaper theme use this url for ? What is the purpose of this url with parameters and how it is being used ?
