Hi,

You probably misunderstood my question.
The problem is my wordpress didn’t generate thumbnail image, from feature images, by default. I must force the generating by running wp-cli command.

So my question is why wordpress didn’t generate thumb images automatically. Is it a bug or the nature of WordPress?

I see.

I still can’t understand why WordPress nor plugin “Regenerate thumbnail images” could generate thumbnail images.
Only using wp-cli command could generate them.

Do you have any suggestion?

I successfully generated thumbnails by using wp-cli script.

I have 1 question, will the wordpress generate thumbnail images for every images I had in Media Library, or I must to generate it manually by plugin or wp-cli script?

Hi,

I installed PHP-gd:

$ yum list installed | grep php | grep gd
php56w-gd.x86_64 5.6.13-1.w6 @webtatic

Folders permission is OKAY:
drwxrwxrwx 6 tuannh tuannh 4.0K Oct 6 10:42 .

But it still isn’t okay now.

Please help 🙂

Thank you for your reply.
I install plugin Regen. Thumb because of your site’s recommendation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/existing-content/.

Now I deactivate that plugin, but the problem is still the same: The theme still use large image instead of thumb (small) images in front page. This problem leads to performance issue.

Please help.
