I saw these links in the documentation, but for some reason this solution did not work. All the time I only had the message “While using a pagebuilder sidebar settings are not available. To add a sidebar on page use the widgetized sidebar block.”. Changing to default and back didn’t help. Only changing it on ANOTHER article and repeating this action on the HOME page helped. Anyway managed to get through and I got the effect I was expecting! Thanks!

Also can you help me with the second part of my original question? I mean this part:
