same here. seems like the ‘Single post share’ element is broken in the latest update: e.g. the element does not conform to inner column boundaries.

unfortunately neither column text, nor ad section is an option here, since I have to implement the shortcodes in single posts, from the Gutenberg post editor.

Any chance your developers will fix this in a future release?

Basically the shortcodes look like this (I am listing some examples here):

[insert page=’author-syed-balkhi’ display=’content’]
[insert page=’128′ display=’content’]
[insert page=’128′ display=’all’]
[insert page=’128′ display=’custom-author.php’]

where ‘author-syed-balkhi’ is the slug of the inserted content, 128 is the ID (optional, which one you want to use), and ‘display’ defines other options (what part of the content you want to insert, or use a template that handles which parts of the inserted post you want to display and how).

Thank you for your answer. Yes, I am talking about using a shortcode in the WordPress single-post (Gutenberg) editor (with the Newspaper theme).
Unfortunately, it does not work when using the shortcode element in WP5 Gutenberg editor, either.
But when I use one of the default Newspaper single-post templates instead of a Newspaper cloud template, the shortcode works.
So there must be something that the cloud template single post templates render differently from the default Newspaper templates when using shortcodes.
I also noticed this when using shortcodes from other plugins. (Some of them work, some don’t when using a single-post cloud tamplate.)
