Hi Catalin,
Sorry for the confusion.

I added a banner to the page above and selected “stretch row and content (no paddings)” in visual composer. What I’m wanting to do is remove the gaps on the left and right side to look like this page:

Thanks again!
Hi Catalin,
Thank you for the update! The solution for #3 works well.
For #2 though, I am not using the category page templates. I created a blank new page and inserted a text block (for the category name) and block #5 for the posts. Whether I add the banner to these pages or a post, it doesn’t full stretch.
Thank you very much Catalin! The solutions to #1 and #4 work flawlessly.
For #2: I am referring to the padding on the left and right side, not the top and bottom. No matter what options I use in Visual Composer it won’t stretch all the way.
For #3: The search icon is now hidden from my header. However I need to move the categories to the right to align with the rest of the content, instead of an empty space where the search icon was.
Hi Bogdan,
The link is included in the picture above.
Hi Bogdan,
Unfortunately only the search icon is changed and the hamburger icon remains black.

Hi Bogdan,
Thank you for the explanation on the related articles, and the CSS code for #2 works.
For the menu bars, I apologize for the confusion. I am referring to the 3 lines on the left side of the header/menu.
Hi Bogdan,
Thank you for your assistance! I was able to solve the problems in #4 by creating pages for each category and it works as I wanted. Here are the issues with the others:
1. When changing the “menu bar – icons color”, it only changes the search icon but not the menu bars: http://www.screencast.com/t/n3HvKO3n4D
2. Author page: http://www.screencast.com/t/lqFaAhwk9
3. I can live with the Next Prev pagination, but is there a way to display random posts from ‘all categories’ instead of only related articles?
Thanks again!
