Hi!
How can I change the color of a link? I do not want it to be blue.
Kind regards,
Roger
Thank you!
I finally managed to edit the quote block.
In regards to my other question, I think I’m fine. I’ll just keep it the way it is 🙂
Hello again!
I created a new inner row, but I don’t understand how I can add content to this?
Here are my settings for the pullquote: https://imgur.com/GQPvPz5
I noticed that I couldn’t find these settings in my WordPress, I looks like this to me.
Hello!
I’m getting closer to my goal with the width!
I just had to add a single post featured image element to separate it from the single post content.
However, is there a way I can add some single post text, so that some text of my choice is as broad as the featured image? See what I mean here: https://imgur.com/MJ0XcGd
Hello again!
Got some more questions for you 🙂
How can I change the width of text in a post, independent of the featured image? To see what I mean: Compare the text in The Atlantic with mine.
In the same post on my website, please take note of the way the quote looks and compare it to this. Any idea why it doesn’t look the same? The latter is how it looks when I’m editing. Do you have any tips for good plugins or some other way that gives me more options on the appearance of a quote?
Do you also know the easiest way to back up my website? I’m asked to do this before I update WordPress, but I have now idea how this is done.
Is it necessary for me to create a child theme as well? Any tips on how this can be done?
Hope you have a good day and a good weekend!
All the best,
Roger
Amazing!
Helpful as always, Anamaria!
Thanks a lot!
Hi there!
I could not create a new topic on the front page for some reason. I hope it’s okay that I write my question here instead.
I’m having a problem with something that should be fairly easy. I’m trying to display my posts on a certain way on my homepage, but am not sure how this can best be done.
Currently I have three blog posts, but I can only display two posts with the settings available with Flex Block 1 for some reason. The sort order doesn’t let me choose a specific post.
Any tips on how I can actually display three different posts using the same format that I have now? Asked in another way: Is there a way I can decide the specific post that Flex Block 1 displays?
Thank you!
That did it!
My line height was set to 0! I removed this value and then it worked.
Thank you so much!
Hello again!
Hehe, I tried that, but it didn’t work.
Maybe I’m a noob, but I now realize it depends on my screen resolution. When I zoom in on my desktop, I sometimes see the whole title, but when I have my screen resolution on 100 %, it displays how I showed you – smashed together. It appears as if there is not enough space for the words. Any idea what this could be?
Maybe you can see how it’s on your desktop: http://www.cogitate.no/
Thank you!
Hello there,
I managed to fix the filter now, thank you.
But I’m still struggling a bit with the text. It is an excerpt, yes.
I suddenly realized that I don’t use a mobile page at all. It is just the desktop version displaying on the mobile.
But, the excerpt is fine on when viewing on a mobile: https://imgur.com/a/MfRiqg7
But when viewing on the desktop it gets a bit curled up: https://imgur.com/a/adlbnSM
I think this has to do with there not being enough space for the meta info to display? Do you know how I can change this? I’m using a Flex bloc 1.
Thank you!
Amazing, thank you!
Hi Anamaria,
Thank you!
But… how do I add text to this element? Haha!
I can’t figure out how!
Thank you, that helped! All is well now 🙂
Thanks a lot, Anamaria!
That was all very helpful 🙂
The only thing I still can’t get right is my logo. It’s still comes off as blurry on a mobile. However, I’ll try to resize the original image down to around 140 x 48px in some image editing software without reducing it’s quality. Maybe that will help. That way tagDiv composer doesn’t have to resize it.
Again, thank you for your help!
