thank you.. I appreciate the help!!
That worked.. Thanks!!
Hi Alin,
I am having the same problem and I am using the child theme. I am using 6.2 (latest release) and all plugins are updated and being used. Tested turning off all plugins as well. It works great in the main newspaper theme when I change it to that theme, but it breaks when I activate the child theme. I think there is an issue with the child theme. I have tested different grids in the lower main content areas and they appear to work. It is that first grid at the top of the page.
You can use my test site to test.. http://test.paleoctopus.com
Not trying to Hijack your thread Mark.. 🙂 Just thought I can help us both get the answer a little faster as I have already done a bunch of testing and we are having the same issue.
Cheers,
Will
Hi Lucian,
I disabled all plugins but no change in the slider. When I do a side by side test with the demo the major thing is that it looks like the images on my site aren’t resizing to the mobile space but just for the slider area.. the images resize for the rest of the site tho.. weird issue.. not sure how to troubleshoot it.
Thanks for any help or advice you can give. I appreciate it!!

Hmmm.. Works for me .. here is a page I am using it on.. http://flyfishforfun.com/hardy-ultralite-dd-fly-fishing-reel-review/ Check out the bottom.
Maybe you are trying to do something different with your links? I would send them your issue in a new forum topic and give them your login info in a private email when they ask for it. They have been cool with helping me with all my little issues.
Good luck with your site!! Its always the little coding things that drive you crazy, right? hehehe
Hey Jacob.. On your links in the review box replace any of these [“] with these[‘].. that should take care of it. I think.. 🙂 Try that and see if that takes care of it.
Cheers,
William
Hi Radu,
I have tried that actually.. It will increase the content length but still add that broken code snippet at the end.. no matter what length you try. I tried that for module 2 and Mod 3.
I am happy to send you log in detail PM if you wouldn’t mind taking a look at it.
Thanks for all of your help.. I appreciate it.
Cheers,
William
When I take the html out it gets rid of the error.. I can use html line break “br” tags in there correctly so I am sure we can use html in that area.. but it seems like the excerpt areas don’t like ahref links in that area right now.
Is there a workable fix for that for the theme?
Thanks,
Will
Hi Radu.. thanks for the help.. Here is what I have in the review description box.
`
The post verbiage with one link in the verbiage

The post verbiage with two links in the verbiage
http://www.screencast.com/t/QDa6Yd9Omm
The Home page will the excerpts. (notice what is happening when you add one link in there or two. Is my link strand incorrect?
http://www.screencast.com/t/qGnMhErCT
Is it an excerpt setting issue? I see that it is pulling some text from the body of the article but then it looks like it pulls the last part of the verbiage (that being the link strand) from the review description..
Thanks,
Will
ok cool thank you..
Specifically what is showing is “Third Party Review from Back Country”>” and at the bottom of the excerpt verbiage “Stylish, simplistic and technologically advanced for superior performance. — Material: Stainless steel and carbon drag materials; aluminum housing Backing capacity: 100… Third Party Review from Back Country”>“
Hi Marius,
You guys are very helpful.. thanks for the support.
Thank you for showing me the logo area.. I will remember that area in the future.. the theme is so robust. 🙂
Slider.. I understand now.
I added the code to my child theme style.css but I don’t see a change. I refreshed multiple times. Using an iphone to test. Any thoughts?
Thanks again for the help. You are awesome.
Will
ok cool.. thanks for the info… I will test it out.
Appreciate the time.
William
Ahh.. dang it.. I knew I saw that you could change that, I just couldn’t remember where. The theme is so robust, I love it.
Thanks for pointing that out radu.
William
woocommerce is free. You might need to buy add-ons depending on your situation but it’s at http://www.woothemes.com
I am noticing a similar drop in speed on load time with the newest version. (or when making changes and trying to save). I disabled all plugins and it still drags upon load. (not trying to piggyback your post Helder.. just adding that I am experiencing the same issues. 🙂
