Every block has a left and right padding of 24 pixels.

Just like you said, what if i make it 8 px both left & right will there be an issue. ?

I just discovered the visual composer has the 3 column with the sizes I want.
Take a look at punchng.com you will the middle column is bigger than the left and right column.
How do I swap the middle column to the left side

Good i have got it, but i want the font and excerpt of the slider to remain big enough different from the rest of the sites, how do i increase only that one

plz i want the whole container to have a color not just the title , how do i achieve that

Fine i have seen the margin is been closed, so how do i make one columns wider that other one.
i want to have the widger area 300px for ad, the other 160px ad, then remaining on for news
