Thank you Bogdan.. strangely enough I don’t see the problem anymore. Interestingly I don’t use a caching plugin as well.

Well, apparently this is not just an issue with mobile theme.
Even if I disable the mobile theme and access the page on iPhone 6s on portrait mode, it still shows that gap. Doesn’t happen in landscape mode
