Thanks Andrei. However, I managed a rather simple solution since mine was a case of NOT wanting to display ads on one page (vs. showing different ads on different pages as in your solution).

For others:

Wrap ad code in a div, and then add the following CSS:

body.page-id-*page ID number minus the asterisks* .*div class minus the asterisks* { display: none !important; }

Virtual tip jar > {________}

Thanks for your help across the forum mate, we owe you a beer. Before trying out what you suggested, I turned off cloudflare’s CDN (tried it before but that didn’t fix it) but this time I let the change take effect for a couple of hours before checking again. and BAM! It was working. I’m still having the mis-alignment issue though (not #1 on the priority for now).

Meanwhile, the problem is getting bigger. No images are being displayed on the entire website, and this is how the WP Super Cache admin looks:

Updated the theme and also reinstalled WordPress a couple of times, but the issue persists. Even worse, the theme isn’t loading any pictures anymore.

Also, I would love it if I’m able to get the editor working without having to go through the entire theme update procedure (which wasn’t particularly enjoyable for me the last time 🙁 ).

Thanks Andrei, the team’s response fixed it for me.

For everyone else having this problem: I created a child theme using ‘One Click Child Theme’ plugin. Clearly, that was a bad idea; using the included child theme zip is the way to go 🙂

I had the same issue. My visual composer and social counter plugins were previous versions which caused the error. You probably need to update your social counter to fix the issue.

Did exactly that but to no avail 🙁

I’ve still had NO luck with the latest version of visual composer, but the older one seems to do better. The only problem with the older version is that the main menu and the rest of the modules aren’t aligned correctly… that too only on the home page.

Any idea what I could try next?

UPDATE: Ive gone back to an older version of VC for now, which seems to be doing better (but not well enough, the elements are still mis-aligned).

I’ve disabled all plugins and the site seems to perform well now. If you wish, I can post the CPU usage numbers here (I believe they make a LOT more sense to you than to me).

Please note that, the long_query_time set for the MySQL service is 15 seconds.
Since it is a shared server, we can't alter this values for single domain. We have set this limit carefully to avoid any wastage/abuse of server resources and increasing the limit will result in degradation of server's performance.

Do you think I need an older version of Visual Composer?
