All of a sudden visual composer doesn’t work anymore. Only as backend editor. In the classic mode (do I say that correct? Don’t I switch the two around) I see a block with Visual Composer, but the actual page content itself no more. I have deactivated all plugins and cleared the browser cache. Then checked again. Doesn’t help me.

This is because you updated WordPress to the latest version but not the theme and the Visual composer plugin.

I use the Envato WordPress Toolkit to update the theme. But it doesn’t update VC.
When I go to td_theme_plugins/Install premium plugins it shows VC as Installed and Active
Are you saying I have to download the total THEME package, extract and locate the plugin, and THEN upload it? Surely it should update directly based on the theme?
