Using visual composer for newspaper theme.

Please make sure you update your theme to the latest version by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and also update the visual composer plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
You need to also uypdate the social counter plugin in newspaper 7 as the old one will not work anymore.
The issue with visual composer was caused by the latest version of wp and visual composer under 4.11

Hi,
It depends on the customization you made. If they are added in the theme panel then you will not lose anything. If your customization is altering of the theme files, then you will have to make a back-up of the modified files and apply the modifications you made to the new theme files.
All your posts, pages and theme settings will remain ‘untouched’.

Do you have the mobile theme installed? If yes, then scroll down a bit to see the second editor. The mobile theme uses a second editor that does not use visual composer.
