Not sure why whatever resolution I upload at the images do not show up sharp. Seems like something is compressing them.
Hi,
It seems your site does not use a thumbnail for that module’s images. Please make sure you have this thumbnail active: http://screencast.com/t/Ee3rTOnEPzW and remove any image optimization tools you might have like photon from jetpack for example. And then regenerate your thumbnails. Please follow this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
Thank you!
Hello ericshun,
I have checked your website and I saw that you do not have the thumb created for Block 13, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/wzZOvVL2p Please try to activate it from the Theme panel, as my colleague Bogdan said you above, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/LlCjiRVRnPR and the Block 13 should work like this -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-13/ Also, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches, purge CDN file if you are using the CDN system and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. It is possible that some untested plugins which you are using in theme to create some conflicts which might create some issue with the thumbs.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!

Hello sniperetn,
Upon further investigation, as you can see on your demo preview for Block 13, this is the default theme behaviour for this type of block/module. As I could see on your website, you are using the Block 13 without sidebar, using the full-width of the theme, right? So, this block uses the module 14 to display the feature image. In this case, the thumb is created as properly, with this sizes -> 696*385 px -> http://screencast.com/t/Q4aitWfJpL8o If you do not use the sidebar, the feature image was cropped to the thumb dimension and then with a bit of CSS it will be stretched to fit full width of the theme which is 1068px and that’s why your image is not clear because it loses quality. If you check our demo, you will see the same behaviour for this Block, like this -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-13/ -> http://screencast.com/t/QDr9R8kqkt and the same case appears on your website, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/r7hIXbIsbmjs
As a hint, as you can do in this regard, would be to change the thumb dimension from the module 14, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/7vYhy9B5qpf9 -> http://screencast.com/t/XciGoQrE and then you will have to regenerate your Thumbnails using the Regenerate Thumbnails or Fore Regenerate. Please notice that additional customization may be required and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello sniperetn,
Please notice that when you load the images in your Media Library, the quality of the images is not lost, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/PbQln1nUaD the image will be loaded to the original dimension and then it will be cropped depending on which block/module is used -> http://screencast.com/t/kqxd9ZQJ.
If you need more assistance in this regard, please provide your website URL so I can inspect it closer your logo and also, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response. Please make sure that you have selected the maximum size for your logo when you load from the media library -> http://screencast.com/t/pj8omNou
Hope this helps!
Thanks.
