If you are using the https URL, please try to follow the next steps for your Translations. Try to load your desired translation from panel and then you can see in left corner of your browser, an icon with a shield and then try to Load unsafe scripts, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/aLm2aAFv5

I have made some tests on my live website with these characters and it seems to work as properly, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/c8E8b5Vf7d7D Try to disable all untested plugins, if you are using something like this, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins.
