The page speed of my site http://www.rockingfamily.at is worst. Gzip is activated, and i’ve already installed the recommended Caching plugin.
Google Page insights told me, that the server response time ist very slow. But the latency is very low and i can load my stats site in a few miliseconds.
But when i check the site with firebug, it lasts nearly 2 seconds to laod the site html (header), before laoding the images, css, js, and so on.l
How ca i improve the loading of my site?

Thx a lot. The Page speed increased.
But the time to first byte ist very slow. I think, that my pictures are much too big. I will optimize them.
