What is Latest Newspaper Theme Version?

I have Newspaper ver. 7.5 installed in my copy of WordPress. In my WordPress (on GoDaddy) this appears to be the latest version. I have seen no notices of a later version. However, I see now some posts here that refer to a later version, 7.8.1.

So what is the latest version? How can I install that if my version of WordPress doesn’t realize there is a newer version?

I’ve been having problems installing Tagdiv’s Social Counter in my current version. My screens for https://developers.facebook.com do NOT match what your documentation for the social counter expects. Will a newer version help?

Download the latest version from your ThemeForest account.
You can also see the changelog at bottom of the theme page on TF as well or inside the ‘all files’ download zip from TF.

Yes, FB changes things over time. New version of theme updated to better work with FB.

You can use this guide to update the theme – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ using the methods mentioned, and following the required steps for each one.
Also please remember to install the latest version of the plugins bundled with the theme
