NewsPaper Theme will not install via wordpress

Good Morning,

New forum user but any assistance would be appreciated.

Instructions for WordPress installation followed 100% however the Theme will not install

Instead of successful loading of the Theme, I get a WordPress failure notification on the top Bar
and on the page
Are you sure you want to do this?
Please try again.

Downloaded – all files then extracted .. just the theme and extraction ..extracting to multiple locations etc

Any assistance appreciated .. certainly it cant be designed like this?

No plugins installed

Same load issue

Tried those and many others to bring this in as theme but it just isn’t working the way it should for whatever reason.

Haven’t had issues with any others, just this theme

I have the exact same problem. Tried different browsers but nope. Clean install, new account, nothing activated. Loading newspaper.zip.

Error: Are you sure you want to do this? Try again.

Most often it’s

a) permissions issue due to how WP was installed (owned by apache, etc)
b) timeout issue while server trying to install
c) running out of memory, due to too little memory for WP (really should increase default from 40M to 64M or higher)
d) security setting on server for php
e) uploading corrupt file
f) timeout of your ISP connection to server

(( etc. ))

FTP is best way to install anything with WP.

I found a solution which worked for me. Pity about the noise in vid but just turn down sound.
