Hi everybody,
I will try to explain the problem: When I embed tweets in a post using the embed code or URL, everything works fine within the post. But: there is no preview on my blog home page. No image, nothing. Only a grey frame. Do I need a plugin? Or is the newspaper theme not suitable for that? Sorry, but I’m a total WP-beginner…

Hi,
That means you have not set a featured image (or video) for the post

Each posts needs to have a featured image, only when setting one the theme will create thumbnails to display on blocks/modules
