TagDiv Social Counter doesn't work

Hi,
I updated to the Newspaper version from 4 May through ftp. Unfortunately, my Instagram counter in the footer 3 – Widget – TagDiv Social Counter (Volg ons / Follow us) doesn’t work. It shows 6, but we have 21 followers. How to solve?

Thanks for your feedback. It still doesn’t work.
My theme is updated to the 4 May version 8.7.4. I deleted cache via the WP Super Cache plugin; changed the instagram id to BBC and the social icon in my footer 3 links to the BBC account, but shows 0.

In wp_option the line “td_011_remote_cache” is 450.000 characters long for me. The old records from Social counter 4.2 or so are still there and refuse to expire.

Trying to bypass cache from

public function get_social_counter($service_id, $user_id, $access_token = ”)

by

private function get_service_data($service_id, $user_id, $access_token)

gets infinite load and crash:

case ‘instagram’:
$td_data = td_remote_http::get_page(“http://instagram.com/$user_id#”, __CLASS__);

Maybe it fails for https://www.instagram.com/aurelvirlan/ where I should have 269 followers but it keeps showing 0.

So how to clear the cache by force? It’s normal to have such a big cache for a few pages website?

Hi there, i’ve got the same problem with Instagram, as well as Facebook. I’ve cleared my cache, uploaded the latest plugin version, but nothing seems to work. Funny enough it does show Twitter followers.

Any thoughts on what to do?

I installed the latest version and also all the plugins that came with the update. FIY: Instagram is now working as well.

The problem seems to be with the Facebook page. Also, I no longer have to validate with my FB secret key etc..

I’ve cleared my cache many, many times, but unfortunately I didn’t seem to help straight away. I just checken my blog again and for some reason, suddenly the Social Counter is working correctly 🙂

ho installato la versione 8.7.3 del tema, e quando provo a configurare il contatore di Facebook (TagDiv Social Counter), pur seguendo tutti i passaggi, non funziona. Il Link rimanda alla pagina, ma non mi da il conteggio (www.farbas.it) (https://www.facebook.com/FarBasilicata/). Se carico uno script con il Raw html, spariscono le pagine e anche il menù. Sono disperato. Come posso risolvere? Graize per la risposta
