Hello,
I am trying to update the image that display as an ad in the newspaper panel.
However, when I try to make any update, such as adding the new code, deleting the old one, or any change, the page starts the infinite loading (with the 8 small squares that makes together a big square running in circle (actually in square)).
I waited 3 times for 10minutes and then tried to reload the page and the settings wasnt updated.
The version currently running is 7.4
How can I update the theme??

That is quite an old theme version. It is good practice to keep WordPress, the theme and plugins up to date. The website security and functionality are directly affected by keeping everything updated.

Thanks for the quick response.
I updated the theme following the procedures on the link provided.
However the problem still happening, I recorded my screen so that you can understand better what is going on.

When I try to change the link that refers to the image that appears in the ad, the “eternal loading that never finishes” starts… and never finishes. So when I refresh link wasnt updated.
What is happening?

So the theme panel is not saving the settings from what I can see. In some previous cases that was caused by a server firewall or security plugin

Check while saving in the browser inspector console, if there are any errors they will be shown there.
