Updated to Newspaper 9 and since then I cannot access my website or even WP

I see a blank page saying that the page isn’t working and also “themillennialnerd.com is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500”

Right after I updated the theme through the Envato Market plug-in.

Please help

The recommended way to update the theme is via ftp https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/. Make sure you update the theme’s plugins also (manually via FTP too if you cannot access your site).

500 errors could be caused by insufficient WP-memory. Your hosting provider should be able to increase it along the other mentioned parameters, if needed.

Thanks for the replies.

I had done the update correctly but for some reason one of the previous plugin I had crashed everything. I just went on my hosting provider websites and I was able to disable the plugins at faults.

It all works fine now. Thanks again.
