Hello! I currently have Newspaper 7.0.1 installed on my WordPress and need to update it to the latest version. How can I go about doing this without breaking the site? I know jumping from 7.0.1 to 9.7 is likely not going to work. I’m willing to install incremental versions and work up to 9.7, but I can’t find older versions to download.

Firsly please note that from 9.7 the core of our Newspaper theme has suffered some changes as you can see here too: https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
1. First step you’ll have to do is create a full backup of your website.
2. After that go into wordpress and DELETE the Newspaper Theme and tagDiv Plugins.
3. Upload the new version of Newspaper theme using our guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/
This should produce minimum changes to your website.
