What do you recommend for dimensions in Settings > Media Settings ?
And that you recommend for best sizes for images in Posts ? … also size for the Feature image ?

Sorry but that doesn’t really answer my question. I’m confused.
Do I ignore the WordPress setting > Media Settings ??…
I have read…that a feature image size of 1200 x 630 is most commonly used, for responsive purposes and sharing a post etc ??
Also I have all the settings switched on under theme block settings including the retina … is the correct?
I am also creating my in post images at 1068 x 712 … is this a good size ?

Hi,
Our theme will not use the images/thumbs made by WordPress -> https://i.imgur.com/B4ylCJx.png it will use the thumbs that are made using the settings from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/Mhrf674.png thse thumbs will be use only for featured images, these will be display in blocks/modules and at the top of articles.
Also we recommend to enable in theme panel only the thumb sizes you are using, in this way you’ll prevent to create thumbs with a dimension that will not be use.
All the thumbs size from theme panel are good and you can use them.

So to clarify …. when optimising my images the below ratio will fit all blocks /modules in general?
My photoshop template.. size of 1200 x 630px for feature images OK ??

Hi,
If you are referring to upload an image with that size, then yes, but if you want to use only two size as thumbs in out theme, then no, the theme use only the thumbs size from theme panel.
Uploading these size in media library will create the thumbs for theme too -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
