Hi,
I’m having trouble with my Mobile PageSpeed score (desktop is fine).
I *think* the biggest problem – that I can’t fix – is that the featured image seems to be loading dozens of times all in different resolutions (see screenshots below). How can I fix this?

I’ve been A/B testing the theme with and without the Mobile Theme Plugin activated. I’ve just reinstalled it and the LCP is still taking 4.8 seconds to load – at dozens of different resolutions – and the PageSpeed score is still only 66.
I’ve read a load of your articles about what to do, but nothing seems to fix the issue.

Largest Contentful Paint, is a new tool added by google for page speed, unfortunately for this moment we do not have a guide for this, but you can try the suggestions from the articles:

You haven’t linked to anything at the end there.
I really need to get my LCP time down. As you can see from the link below, the speed has tanked since I’ve swapped to this theme. It wasn’t an issue before!
As I said before, this theme is loading the featured image 20 times – and that’s making it the LCP by far!

Hi,
The Largest Contentful Paint is a new element add for page speed, you can check more about it and how to fix it using this article -> https://web.dev/optimize-lcp/
Also by default our theme do not add 20 times a featured image, this must be from a plugin that you are using.
If you want, you can make a test, you can let only the theme plugins (tagDiv plugins), clear all cache and check again to see if the image is still loading 20 times.
Unfortunately for the moment we do not have a guide for how to avoid the LCP but we think to make one to be use for our themes.
