Hi Guys,
I have just enabled tagDiv Mobile theme and Official AMP Plugin for WordPress. My site is very new without any external plugins (except jetpack). I have few queries if you can help me with as below:
> My website format on mobile was perfect but i wanted to use AMP Theme and Plugin to take advantage of performance improvements but when i enabled the tagdiv mobile theme, it changed the layout (which is fine as its by design) but why it does not show featured images on the site when using my site on mobile phone (Techpress.net can you please check).
> Mobile Theme shows 3 drids on the home page and can go upto 6. is there any way i can change the grid layout. Rightnow its just stacking the featured image one on top of another.

But I have enabled the Retina Blocks as well. Should i enable it does it cause any performance issues ?

1. The retina should not cause any performance issues.
2. I personally would go for the Mobile Theme + AMP option: Mobile+Amp – Displays content using the Mobile Theme on both mobiles and AMP
3. The mobile theme is a very light version of Newspaper Theme. Unfortunately many “features” will no more be available.

Sorry for misunderstanding !
It comes with it’s own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout.
The homepage is automatically changed to a layout containing a grid showing 3 featured posts and a latest articles section.
So unfortunately nothing that you have created on desktop will be rendered on Mobile theme.

No worries, what about the Official AMP Plugin for WordPress should it be in transitional mode, standard mode or reader mode ?
Hi jatin_makhija, if you want to use the amp plugin without mobile theme, then you need to use the “Reader” mode, only this one is working properly with our theme.

EVEN I AM FACING THIS ISSUE .which is the best configuration for mobile theme with amp plugin .also in amp theme there are only 3 ads displayed .how can i display more ads .for eg after 5 posts i can display one ads .then only i can utilise the entire home page consisting of 36 posts.

We recommend to use the mobile theme plugin with amp -> https://i.imgur.com/EgTXw8j.png (on amp let the Transitional option selected), in this way the amp will have the mobile theme layout and you can control the elements that you want to display using the mobile settings. Also the ad set on mobile theme plugin will be display on amp too and you can set an amp auto ad code -> https://i.imgur.com/4cnZBJ1.png
If you are using only the amp plugin, then this will be very limited and you need to use the Reader option.

Hello i tryed this settings by switching to mobile+amp version since amp version doesnt display ads in home page only in individual posts it display ads in top of the post and after the post and in the footer area even though i have added ads in all the theme positions .
also when i switched to mobile+amp version users are not able to access the post content and only ads are displayed. why posts are not displayed with content . so i had to switch to mobile only version,but i am losing the traffic due to slow loading of website in mobile traffic which i want to show the mobile versions ads and amp for faster loading.website is techjobs360.com.

this is not the case now . now theme setting is changed to only mobile in theme settings and ads are diisplayed but mobile +amp mode and amp standalone theme panel settings mode the ads dont get displayed.If iswitch over to amp -then contents are not displayed on mobile . i can get content and ads only when it is shown on mobile mode in theme panel setting.
I want to use amp version and need ads to get displayed .

If you are referring that the page content can not be displaying on mobile theme plugin only the posts, then you are right, using this plugin you need to set for pages a new content in mobile editor -> https://i.imgur.com/8K3XNKi.png or you can use the responsive version using this option -> https://i.imgur.com/PxOjuwS.png

I am not referring to the page creation .What i meant is i used to create posts in individual posts and posts used to display in amp mode of the theme panel.Now after the amp plugin has updated the theme is having issues. what i am saying if i select mobile mode of the theme panel then only posts are getting displayed and if i keep amp verison mode or mobile + amp mode in theme panel -sometimes the users are not able to view the content ,even though in each individual post settings it is displayed.
so i had to switch to mobile mode . but i want to keep amp version of the website to users so they can get faster loading.

If you can, please provide a link where I can inspect this problem, in this way I will be able to find what is causing the issue and provide a solution.

currently i set the theme settings to mobile + amp and no contents are displayed after clicking on the post link. if it opens on mobile mode version the ads and content are displayed but if it is opened from a search on google with amp mode the post contents are not displayed Please fix this problem sooner and also in amp mode only 3 ads comes in home page where as in mobile mode multiple ads are shown
