Every time when there is a Newspaper update, it’s the same “desaster”: A message in the install process says all plugins will be updated. Nothing the like is happening. Even worse, in the front end nothing is working anymore (showning all the codes etc.)
So one has to manually re-install the various Newspaper plugins. And to activate them. And to realize that the “tagDiv Standard Pack” is not only to build a “website fast and effortless without code. Perfect for beginners”, but it’s actually required to make the Newspaper theme work. And to install it. And to activate it.
And one may get annoyed that when the “required” add-in “tagDiv Cloud Library” just delivers an error when trying to install it (as the folder is already existing”), which actually does not matter.
Yes, the standard pack is mentioned here in the forum. Still, may I suggest to make that update process much more seamless? And, if any further action (apart from installing the update itself) is required, to very clearly highlight that at the beginning of the installation process?
I think that would be a great value add to everyone using TagDiv themes!

We are sorry for the inconvenience that you are facing. Please note that this is not a common practice since there are thousands of users who update and they have no issue.
Please make sure that you update the Newspaper Theme as shown in our guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and also make sure to update and activate all the required plugins. If the issue still persists please send us a screenshot of your System Status Tab and make sure that all the requirements are met as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ ; You will have to first start looking for a plugin conflict. please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Also If you are using PRO Demos or Cloud library templates, TagDiv Standard pack is no longer required.
