tagDiv Shop does not fully display all woocommerce options:
1. It is not possible to create a template and attach an appearance for the tag archive
2. It is not possible to create a template and attach an appearance for the attribute archive
3. WooCommerce shortcodes – it does not include the option to add a product category to the store. It should be possible to add a store category to the navigation sidebar with a drop-down menu when there are subcategories.
It is not possible to edit the footer, it is not possible to edit it with “Edit with TagDiv Composer”.
https://ibb.co/Sx06cdB
The next question concerns how to create an additional custom widget field. I would like to load separate widgets for articles and for the store.
Hello,
This is a plugin at the beginning, and yes, not all Woocommerce functionalities are included but we are trying to add new options according to the clients’ requirements.
1. The tag template will be added in the next update.
2 and 3 I’m not sure I fully understand what you want to achieve, can you provide some examples with screenshots?
4. The footer template does not have the button to be edited with tagDiv Composer in the backend, the footer can be edited only from the frontend if it is assigned, edit a page/post template with tagDiv Composer and go down to the footer. => https://www.screencast.com/t/rpfNhfyrF that page can be private.
5. If you create widgets you can use the element widget sidebar to assign the widgets where you want https://i.imgur.com/C1ITTjV.png
Thank you!
It is understandable that the project is in its infancy, so we make suggestions. As not everything was clear, I am sending additional information.
1. It is not possible to create a template and attach an appearance for the tag archive
2. It is not possible to create a template and attach an appearance for the attribute archive
Points one and 2 are very similar, and for both of them there is no possibility to create a template for an archive page:
Both subpages do not have a template and are not styled in the same way as other subpages of the store, e.g. Categories.
1.The appearance of the tags subpage
https://ibb.co/p2mMK5P
2. Attributes subpage appearance if the “enable archives” option is enabled in the attributes
https://ibb.co/4TSSw3t
3. WooCommerce shortcodes – it does not include the option to add a product category to the store. It
In the case of item 3, the case concerns the store category for products. You cannot add them in templates using shortcodes because there are no such shortcodes.
It is a multi-level menu for categories and subcategories to which products are assigned. There should be an option to add such a menu to the template above the filters.
Something like: https://electro.madrasthemes.com/product-category/video-games-consoles/
5. If you create widgets you can use the element widget sidebar to assign the widgets where you want https://i.imgur.com/C1ITTjV.png
My question was how after entering the widget, create a new box for a different set of widgets?
All this to be able to read other widgets in the store template and a different set of blog template widgets.
Hi,
Thank you for your suggestions, we add them on our list.
For the moment the shop added in our theme it is at the beginning and we’ll try to make it better and better, the tag template will be added from the coming theme update and maybe the archive cloud page will be too.
About the widget sidebar element, you can set it with tagDiv Composer were you want and you can use as many you want. The widget sidebar element was added in tagDiv Composer to can also use widgets and to not be limited only to the theme elements.
Thank you for your suggestions and in case that you have others, please let us know!
Thank you!
Have a nice day!
Hello,
Of course, I am aware that the idea for the store has just emerged and that the project will be developed. Therefore, we are already submitting our comments, which will have a positive impact on the creation and management of projects.
I have not received information about the point:

I think that this is the most important element in an online store and should be shorcode and properly styled using css.

Hello,
In which file can you change the link to https?
The product template shows a picture that is added in css and causes security and SSL certificate issues.
During synchronization, the API checks if the website is safe and throws errors. The weird fact is that this photo is nowhere used on the product page and causes errors. Is it not possible to globally throw it away. Please also let me know where it is used.
Hi,
That image it is from the pre-build website that you are using, and I think that the image it is set for the mobile menu in the theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/16UAsgZ.png just remove or replace it from there and there won’t be any problems.
I hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hello,
Thanks for your help in finding this picture, unfortunately there is another one that is loaded via http and I have to change it to https. However, the image is probably on the main page of the store and in the source code, but I can’t find it in the template.
Hello!
This image background is from the category template and you can remove it or re-add it like this: https://www.screencast.com/t/U53yKiLG9l
Please note that you need to select the row of the Ad box element.
Thank you!
Hello,
Yes, this is the element and it was fixed on all templates.
However, the problem is with the main store template:
It is in this subpage that it shows that there is a picture from http named “xxx_bg_xxx.jpg”.
If I go to the source of the page on the main page of the store and look for the name, there is such an image added in the css.
However, it cannot be found in the template to be changed to https or deleted.
Hello,
Has anything changed in this matter, a lot of time has passed and the store module has not been developed with the basic functionality of the store, i.e. the division of categories and subcategories in the form of a list.
For SEO, there is no internal linking to the most important sales subpages. Will anything change in this matter or do you need to look for another template to create a friendly store.

Hello!
We add the modifications and new features here: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper/
For SEO, we also recommend a separate plugin.
Thank you for understanding!
Hello
1. Implementation of the woocommerce category menu
Above is our correspondence, a year ago I reported that the Tagdiv Shop module does not have a module or widget that will allow you to display full Category and Subcategory navigation in a store based on your Tagdiv Shop module.
Something like: https://electro.madrasthemes.com/product-category/video-games-consoles/
I think that this is the most important element in an online store and should be shorcode and properly styled using css.
A long time ago Sep 21, 2021 at 8:15 am Calin wrote that it was a good suggestion and saved it as a task. I don’t believe you can’t do that. And this is very important in terms of a large shop and a wide range.
With large stores, and even small ones with several categories, your solution for sorting categories does not work, and we do not have a module for ordinary categories that are in the WooCommerce standard.
I started doing something once based on a standard widget and loading it in a template using the widget module.
I used code for this:
jQuery(document).ready(function($) {
$('.cat-parent > a').after('<span class="toggle">+</span>');
$('.cat-parent > ul').hide();
$('.toggle').click(function(){
$(this).text(function(i, text){
return text === "+" ? "-" : "+";
});
$(this).siblings('ul').slideToggle();
});
});
And css styles:
.toggle {
display: inline-block;
float: right;
font-size: 20px;
text-align: center;
cursor: pointer;
vertical-align: middle;
}
Example: https://moderncosmetics.pl/kategoria-produktu/kosmetyki/
However, I’m not satisfied because entering a lower level subcategory causes the navigation to collapse and you can’t see the current level.
Due to the fact that I am not a programmer, the project has been lying for a year and I cannot finish it and wait for development on your part.
Woocomerce categories are a basic element and you don’t have them.
2. Woo Attribute Filters – set the order
How to set the order of filters and move categories to the top and others to the bottom?
Hello!
You can reorder manually. I’m sorry, but we do not take decisions. We only add features to a list. For customization and other services, you can contact our custom work team here: https://tagdiv.com/premium-customization-services/.
Thank you!
1. Woo Attribute Filters – set the order
I’m uploading a video that shows that you can’t change the order in the filters.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Ip3sNb25ZZRnY-zh2iJ_JreoeoSHJGWo/view?usp=sharing
2. Implementation of the woocommerce category menu
Below I am sending a screenshot where you can see that there are modules displaying WordPress categories.
My question is why there is no WooCommerce category module since it is also a basic element that is in every template.
So I understand that you are doing it specifically to earn money on additional and programming services. You seem to have taken that direction.
However, for customers, this is a signal that something that is a standard element is not created specifically to then send the customer to paid services.
I have over 25 licenses for your templates and I know what it looked like before and I see what it looks like now.
I don’t require anything extra. I am asking about the basic functionality that is standard WooCommerce solution.
Besides, please tell me why should I pay for adding a standard WooCommerce element when it should be added right away. I will pay for it and you will add it for everyone.
It’s some kind of bastraction.
Hello!
1. You can’t drag and drop because there is only one element there. You can write them in another order; this is what I meant.
2. There is a shortcode called “WOO Product Categories”: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-shop/
Thank you!
1. So I have to drag and arrange a new widget or a group of widgets and it can’t be done within one widget.
2. I explain that there is no option to add a category list (navigation). Below are available tagdiv widgets for woocommerce.
https://ibb.co/kGn7df3
https://ibb.co/vD5zdpk
There is only wordpress category list for blog. In this module you can also change tags to WordPress i.e. blog.
This solution should be for WooCommerce for categories and tags. That is the standard solution.
Professionally, what is standard and available in standard widgets should be able to be used by all customers with a template as a widget / tagdiv module.
Of course I use TagDiv Shop, otherwise I wouldn’t report the lack of basic solutions and problems.
Regards,
I know you don’t, because I wrote above that I’ve been reporting to you for a year that the Tagdiv Shop module is useless and lacks the basic elements of WooComerce, which makes it impossible to create a normal store.
You made it for fun, and it doesn’t really have the basic functionality that WooCommerce gives you, so the question is what is it for?
My question is whether this can be reported somewhere and you will finally do something about it, because it’s ridiculous.
Hello!
I’m sorry that you feel this way, but we will try our best to improve the theme.
Please read here the purpose of our plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-shop/
Thank you!
Well, the goal is cool, that’s why I bought over 25 licenses and it turned out that you released something that is underdeveloped and lacks the basic elements of WooCommerce.
After all, something like this should not see the light of day until basic functionality is available.
After all, it proves a company that creates itself as a professional one and each basic template has a list of product categories.
I reported this over a year ago in 2021, which shows that the project has died because nothing has changed since then and the project is not developed and functional.
That’s why I would like to receive information when it will be fixed and basic Woocommerce components and widgets will appear?
