Unfortunately you need custom modifications for this which we cannot offer at this moment so I suggest you get a freelancer to do it for you if you don’t know how to do it and do a backup before altering theme’s files.

@pet76 If you use 1.7 version of the theme you can copy only the patch files.
Also if you want to make a full update please follow this guide and use FTP method – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-theme/ and also update plugins that come with the theme files from the /plugins folder.

How do I get the sections in the homepage template to use only specific categories and their children?
I used the ‘Reveal Ids’ to get the category id’s for both my ‘releases’ category and my ‘previews’ category and based on looking through all the templates’ code it looks like using the category_id attribute might be what I want. However after trying it, both sections display my current one post which is in the previews category (not a subset of releases). How I can I get each section to display only the appropriate articles?

I’ve also tried show_child_cat with no luck as well. Is there something like an MSDN page that lists all possible attributes and a description of each? Also what is the difference between td_block1 and td_block2?

I’m not sure what you want to do from your description however the most specific filtering you can do is using the tag slug filter and use a specific tag on all posts you want to filter within a block then add that tag in the tag slug filter to pull all posts using that tag in that block.
The same can be achieved using a specific category – add posts you want in it then set the block to filter posts just from that category which will display the posts added there therefore just the posts you want.

Here you can find settings for Latest Articles and you can change the module to display articles and sidebar(set a custom sidebar and position – options): http://screencast.com/t/8mdn1M7czydr
Unfortunately if you want just first post from “Latest Articles” section to be in full width, the theme doesn’t have an option for this.

Hello, could somebody please help me / I don’t know what the problem is: my theme panel from Newspaper it totally blank starting from the layout settings ! I can only change thing in: Welcome / Header / Footer and Ads.
From there there is noting I can do. How is this possible ?

I entered Pages and then my homepage (which for me is entitled Top Story), scrolled down and saw a completely different view.
Do I need to format my homepage as a static page to see those options?
