Hi,
I am trying to add a table of contents to a blog post.
From what I assume this is done through TagDiv composer, but I have post type 4 selected, and it doesn’t give me an option to access the composer unless I change the post type.
Can you tell me how to add a table of contents?
I also cannot seem to access the sidebar editor to create a nicer looking sidebar than the standard ‘default’

I recommend importing a Single Post Template after you can import the Single Post Table of content from Composer, and you can create a sidebar like this https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/

So I have to go into each post to add a sidebar using TagDiv?
Or I have to build a completely new page template to have the table of contents and the sidebar on all my posts then apply this template to the existing and future posts?

You can create only once a single post template and set it global to all posts. The changes will apply to all posts.
