Hello again,
I’ve created a form to collect information to download my media kit. I followed the instructions to create the form from your create contact page. I cannot figure out one thing: After submission of the form, I need to redirect them to the media page to download the media kit via a redirect link tied to the submit button.
Where can I place this redirect link? I cannot find any location to place this under the ‘posts form submit’ module except under the “enable create posts” when it’s enabled, which is not at all related to the form I’ve created.
Thanks for your help.
So this funciton isn’t only related to when they submit a post? Or is the form also considered a post?
Thanks.
Hi Anamaria,
I’ve configured this for both my contact page and my form submission page. The instructions are a bit confusing since I’m not building a page for people to post articles, bit to submit an informational form.
I’ve added my custom fields through input, have configured the submit button, but when I test both forms and click submit after putting in content, nothing happens. It doesn’t submit, give a message, or redirect. Both of the pages are published.
What am I missing? Here is a link to view the screenshots with all the fields under the submit button completed:

Hello,
Yes, you need to assign here a post type where to save it https://i.imgur.com/vhSWx2N.png
Please make sure that you have like that the post type name -> https://i.imgur.com/1Fok3qC.png
Thank you!
Okay. I set up two cpt and named one contact and one media for the two different front-end form submissions that I have (see screenshots). I’m not really clear on taxonomies for these because I don’t need them. Both are basic form submissions with input fields.
I added those titles to each of the respective pages and created the pages on a cpt blank template. I’m still getting nothing when I test the submit. I also don’t have the url like you have in your link above. It didn’t create it that way. How do I change that?
I’ve included screenshots here of what I’ve done again (progression of). Any guidance is appreciated. The documentation isn’t very clear on this for me and I’m very confused. I get the concept of this for much more involved pages, but I’ve never worked with cpt before and I’m at a loss as to how this is not working. I’m very confused on this. Thank you.

One more thing with this: is there another plugin that works well with tagdiv (won’t break it) that can be used if I can’t get this to work that may be a bit simpler for basic contact forms?
Thanks.
Hi,
Can I take a look at your website? Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin access.
Also, you can create a contact page like this using a plugin for contact -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-contact-form/
Thank you!
Okay great. I’m going to go with the contact forms pre-made throught the link that you sent. This is the final step for me to launch my site, so I’m going to try this today and see how it goes. If that doesn’t work for me, I’ll message you back and you can take a look.
Thanks so much for your help!
Hi again, We added WPForms as a plugin (I purchased it) and was going through the process to add it to the site. However, when attempting to open the WP editor to edit the content of the column text element and paste the form shortcode, the editor loads indefinitely and does not open. We cleared our cache, disabled all non-essential plugins, and made sure the theme was up to date and still the window just buffers. Would you please take a look at that? I’ve sent the credentials in an email.
I deleted the cpt information because it’s just not making sense to me. After two days of trying, I cannot get it to work. I decided to go with the plugin instead. This is the last element I need to launch my site. Please advise.
Thank you!
Hi,
The problem with the wp editor can be related to a few things, most of the time is related to this – https://i.imgur.com/zJVxF13.png – https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/
I hope this will help you!
